Soccer for hope.

In a few weeks from now, we're having another event. It will be in Nairobi, on the 28th of December. The event is a soccer clinic/workshop for the kids living in homes.
The facilitator of the clinic is Musa Otieno, former Kenyan international, and captain of Kenya in soccer for 17 years. Musa is a born again christian, and he is happy to inspire the kids during this festive season.
We're doing this event to give the kids hope in life. We also want to let them know that through the talents God has put in them, they can make a difference, they can do something in life, no matter what their background is.

He plays pro football in South Africa, in Cape Town's Santos FC. He has played for Santos FC for 13 years.

About the Dreams Campaign

The Dreams Campaign was created in Kenya, March 2010. It came forth out of a short poetry piece dubbed 'dreams'. The piece shed light on a story of a humble family that had a drunkard husband who neglected his roles as a father and so the family went through tough times, including battering, poor diet, and psychological trauma to the extend of death.

Now the Dreams Campaign has several missions:

1 Fight child molestation

2 Fight gender violence in the society

3 Fight for the rights of the African Child.

4 Make one realize his/her dreams

Their ways of working on those missions are:

1 Create a platform where child molesters shall face the justice

2 Create a society free from Gender violence

3 Sensitize the public on the health risks of child molestation

4 Sensitize the child on their right as children

5 Create a network for aiding victims of child molestation and gender violence

6 Create a firm platform where young people may transform their dreams campaign
